Drinks International has just released its list of the fifty best-selling classic cocktails in the world for 2022 and everyone here at Craft Gin Club HQ is very excited to see that a gin-based cocktail has taken the top spot!

To create their list, Drinks International go to one-hundred bars around the world to ask them to compile a list of their best-selling cocktails. They then use that data to find out which cocktails have been sold the most.

Of course, the usual suspects like Margarita (placed fourth) and Old Fashioned (placed second) are on the list. But it is interesting to see that once-lesser-known cocktails like a Boulevardier (placed twelfth) and a Paloma (placed fourteenth) have made the list too.

And we were more than happy to see that gin-based cocktails have taken fourteen positions in the top-fifty list. That means that twenty-eight per cent (over one quarter) of the world’s best-selling cocktails contain our favourite spirit.

Can you guess which gin cocktails made the top fifty? Is your favourite on the list? Scroll down to discover the world’s best-selling gin cocktails of 2022…
