Cocktail: Rosemary Greyhound

This gorgeous, floral tipple is the perfect thing to make for Mum this Mother's Day! With a few simple ingredients you can whip this up in no time on her special Sunday afternoon.

Recipe adapted from Free People

120ml grapefruit juice
60ml gin (Old Tom preferable)
30ml rosemary syrup*
soda water
grapefruit wedge, to garnish
rosemary sprig, to garnish

*For the rosemary syrup:
3 rosemary sprigs
200g sugar
200ml water

Method:

*For the rosemary syrup:
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and water until sugar is fully dissolved. Pour mixture over rosemary in a resealable container and allow mixture to cool fully. Strain syrup before using in recipe.

For the drink:
In a large glass filled with ice, mix grapefruit juice, rosemary syrup and gin. Top with soda water and garnish with a wedge of grapefruit and sprig of rosemary to serve.
