If you like Irish Coffee and gin and creamy lattes and warming winter spice flavours then you are in luck, we have the perfect mish-mash of all of those things in one cosy winter hot gin cocktail!

This boozy, winter-spiced and milky coffee cocktail is so easy to make at home for your favourite gin pals and a fun, creative way to beat that cold winter weather.

Give it a go!

So which gin should you use for this cocktail recipe? Well, for us, it has to be Cascave Stormy Gin, Craft Gin Club’s January 2024 Gin of the Month.

Cascave Stormy Gin is distilled by Wales’ Cascave Gin, which was founded by Julie Davies and her two daughters, Heidi and Naomi.

Launched through Craft Gin Club’s January 2024 Gin of the Month box, this delicious London dry gin has a rich and bright, yet warm mix of pink peppercorn, orange and lemon flavours, all atop a delightfully earthy base of juniper.

Those mouthwatering citrus and spice tones are the perfect match for the collection of winter spices we use to flavour this latte cocktail.

They include cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, clove and star anise but you can mix up that combination, swapping in or out any of your personal favourite spices - this recipe is really forgiving and invites experimentation.

That being said, we do recommend sticking with the vanilla syrup where possible, as its sweet and mellow profile works to balance out the savoury gin.

And if you prefer a sweeter coffee then don’t be afraid to add a teaspoon of brown sugar when the recipe asks you to stir the gin, spices, syrup and coffee in your mug.
