We’ve given the classic Gimlet cocktail recipe a festive twist with our December 2020 Gin of the Month, Cotswold Dry Gin The Cloudy Christmas Gin!
Traditionally made with a mix of gin, lime juice and simple syrup, our festive take on this classic gin cocktail recipe adds clementine juice, cranberry sauce, a sprig of mint and a slice of fresh citrus fruit. It’s a zesty, tangy, Christmassy delight that’s perfect for enjoying over the holidays and throughout winter!
Christmas Gimlet
Ingredients
50ml Cotswold Dry Gin The Cloudy Christmas Gin
20ml lime juice
10ml clementine juice
1 tsp cranberry sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
Fresh clementine or grapefruit slice and a sprig of mint, to garnish
Method
Add all your ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake well. Double strain into a martini or coupe glass and garnish.
