When the summer heat kicks in there is nothing better than eating ice creams on the beach, especially if it’s a big ice cream sundae with all the trimmings. That glorious sense of nostalgia for summer trips to the seaside has inspired our wonderful June 2020 Cocktail of the Month, Craft Gin Club’s Knickerbocker Glory!
In this recipe, which our members can find in the GINNED! Magazine in their June 2020 Gin of the Month box, the fresh citrus and juniper flavours of Dartmouth English Gin, our June 2020 Gin of the Month, are joined by the vibrant, fun, bubbly cherry tang of Soda Folk Cherry. Both of which mix wonderfully with our scrumptious, vanilla-scented Knickerbocker Glory Cocktail Syrup. Fresh lemon juice then lifts the entire experience. What a treat!
Craft Gin Club’s Knickerbocker Glory
50ml Dartmouth English Gin
15ml Knickerbocker Glory Cocktail Syrup (available on our online shop, just click on the name)
20ml lemon juice
Soda Folk Cherry, to top up (available on our online shop along with the rest of their range while stocks last.)
lemon and a spring of mint, to garnish
Fill a highball glass with ice, The Ice Co.’s super cubes are our first choice, they are so slow to melt! Add your ingredients. Stir gently to combine, garnish and serve.
