Juicy, crunchy, tart, sweet, blushing pink, burnt scarlet or vivid green: however you like them, apples in all their delicious forms come into season as summer turns into autumn!

Here, we celebrate this harvest fruit by combining apple juice with gin, lemon juice, honey and a touch of thyme. The Forbidden Fruit? You have our full permission to go ahead and tuck into this beautiful autumn cocktail!

The Forbidden Fruit

50ml gin
10ml lemon juice
100ml apple juice
1 tsp honey
Apple wheels and thyme, to garnish

Add your gin, lemon juice and apple juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass, over ice. Stir in your honey until it dissolves completely. Garnish and serve.
