For those who don’t know, one of the earliest forms of gin, jenever, was invented in Holland, the home of Gin 1689’s founder, Alexander Janssens, and was introduced to the UK when the Dutch king, William of Orange, began to rule England in 1689.

Alexander drew on that rich history to develop his gin, reviving a centuries-old recipe he discovered for one of the first “modern” gins in the archives of the Distillers Guild in London.

The result is a craft gin brimming with a divine mix of spice and warm citrus tones that no gin fan will want to miss.

The pink Queen Mary Edition gin then takes things a step further with the addition of strawberries and raspberries. Yum!
