April 2020’s Gin of the Month:
Perfume Trees Gin
This rare delight captures the heart and soul of one of the world’s most remarkable cities: Hong Kong!
Starting with floral and warmly herbal notes on the nose, the palette then abounds with tangy notes from a perfect selection of Asian botanicals (one of which is worth it’s weight in gold!), and led by the all-important juniper. Chinese angelica and longjing tea then finish the experience wonderfully. It’s truly a gin like no other!

Our April 2020 garnish and syrup of the month:
Dried Kumquat and Jade Blossom Syrup
No G&T is complete with its garnish and, as any learned mixologist will tell you, choosing the right syrup can make or break any cocktail you create! It is for these reasons that we send our members the perfect garnish and syrup to go with their Gin of the Month in every box.
In their April 2020 Gin of the Month box we have include dried kumquat slices to be used in our April 2020 Perfect G&T. Their citrus tang works remarkably well with Perfume Trees Gin and London Essence Co.’s Original Indian Tonic Water to make a G&T that is like no other!
For our April 2020 Cocktail of the Month, named Jade Blossom, we have made the perfect cocktail syrup. Together with Perfume Trees Gin they make an incredible combo!

Maria Viera, our resident mixologist, has out done herself developing this remarkable cocktail for our members to try using ingredients from their April 2020 Gin of the Month box and a couple of things from the store cupboard. Inspired by Perfume Trees Gin and the incredible city of Hong Kong, this cocktail is floral, zesty and full of the sensory delight!
