Inspired by our fabulous sparkling Cocktail of the Month for December 2020, the gorgeous Gin Star Martini (which is a passionfruit gin martini with a shot of prosecco!), we’ve put together a list of our favourite cocktail recipes that use gin and prosecco. Prosecco does come a close second to gin when we think about our favourite tipples, after all.

For this list, we have combined prosecco and gin with the likes of lemonade, elderflower liqueur and cranberry juice. Yum!

The only question is, which one will be your favourite?

Can you mix gin and prosecco?

The short answer to this question is: Yes! You can indeed mix gin and prosecco.

The earthy, complex palate of a good London dry gin works incredibly well with the crisp, bright, white wine flavours of bubbly prosecco.

Together, they give a drinking experience that is delectably rich and elegant, bright and bubbly.

And London dry drinks aren’t the only ones that work well with the sparkles of prosecco. Pink gin and prosecco also make for a fantastic pair.

The fruitier pink gin is a delicious contrast to the delicate prosecco.

What cocktail is made from gin and prosecco?

The most common cocktail to be made from gin and prosecco is a gin and prosecco spritz.

At its most basic, a prosecco and gin spritz combines prosecco with gin and soda water, but there are many variations on this spritz cocktail, including Craft Gin Club’s Rhubarb Aperol Spritz. Find amazing spritz cocktail recipes here!

What cocktails can you make from gin and prosecco?

There are lots of cocktails with prosecco and gin out there. From ginny twists on a Mimosa or Bellini to creative “Fizz” cocktails, you can make lots of fun and delicious prosecco and gin cocktails at home.

Here are six of our favourite gin and prosecco cocktail recipes…
