It's no secret that Aldi are absolute gin fans. First, they launched the G&T ice lollies that everyone has been reaching for during the heatwave, and now they've only gone and launched a colour-changing gin.

Distilled in Scotland by Trossachs Distillery, the McQueen gin changes from its original form of pale sapphire to pink when a tonic or garnish is added. Even though this sounds like magic, there's a science behind it. The gin has been distilled with the blue petal from the Asian butterfly flower, whose PH levels is what causes the colours to change.

Co-founder of McQueen Gin, Dale McQueen said, "Not only does our new artisan gin taste great, but it also brings a little bit of theatre to gin o'clock. Perfect to share with friends, it's a delicious fruity gin with a difference.

Unfortunately, only Scotland-based gin lovers will be able to get their hands on this gin. It's available from now till September for £19.99.
