There’s no doubt about it, April’s Gin of the Month is nothing short of incredible. Beautifully crafted and housed in an equally beautiful bottle, Craft Gin Clubbers have well and truly fallen for both its look and its taste!
As well as the exquisite bottle of gin that members received this April 2020, the team at Perfume Trees Gin have also released special-edition bottles to celebrate significant moments in Hong Kong’s history. The three expressive bottles below form part of a collaboration with Hong Kong Tramways to celebrate their 115th anniversary and one lucky member could be taking them home as part of a GINcredible prize.

On a poetic level, the tramway has borne witness as the city has grown from a fishermen’s village to what it is today. We chose three local artists to express the image of the skyline, and interpret the stories Hong Kong has to offer.

Tramways special edition designed by Don Mak, Illustrator.
Don Mak is an illustrator born and brought up in Hong Kong, graduated with a BA (Hons) in Visual Communication from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since graduation, he has been illustrating freelance for magazines, publishers and advertising agencies, and later founded DONMAK & CO, a Hong Kong based illustration studio.
Tramways special edition designed by talented calligraphist, Sellwords.
A young talented Hongkonger - and the artist behind the beautiful bottle design of your April Gin of the Month - Sellwords is making a name for herself with her modern calligraphy. Much like Perfume Trees’ approach to traditional and modern fusion, Sellwords learned everything she could about the legacy of ancient calligraphy, and then updated it so a new generation could connect with it emotionally.
Tramways special edition designed by the creative unit, Storyteller.
Storyteller is a storytelling platform and creative unit linking illustrations with creative writing to let more people know about creative people from all over the world. They explore the world through stories and tell stories with creative illustrations like this one here on their Tramways special edition bottle!
