Two perfect serves from Tarquin's Cornish Gin!

Tarquin’s Cornish Gin is the amazing distillery behind both our April 2016 Gin of the Month and our fabulously festive December 2018 Gin of the Month, Tarquin’s Cornish Christmas Gin. Based on the Cornish coast, each of their incredible gins is inspired by that amazing landscape.
We are now so excited to be adding their utterly delicious Hibiscus And Lemon Gin and that beautiful Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower Dry Gin to our online shop - keep an eye out for them to become available on Friday, 12th of March.
We can’t wait to give them a try in these two fabulous serves from Tarquin’s.
Tarquin’s Hibiscus And Lemon Gin:
The Spring Spritz
Fragrant and wonderfully citrussy, Tarquin’s Hibiscus And Lemon Gin is ruby-red in colour and brimming with the delicious perfume of hibiscus leaves, which are elevated by zesty and aromatic touches of lemon. Tarquin’s suggest serving this gin in a G&T with Mediterranean tonic water and a garnish of fresh strawberries or in their mouthwatering The Spring Spritz cocktail recipe.
Mixing this tasty gin with sumptuous strawberry jam and a measure of sparkling rosé, The Spring Spritz is a vibrant delight that perfectly balances sweet, tart and crisp notes that are utterly divine. If only everyone could be sat in the sun on the Cornish coast to enjoy it like the team at Tarquin’s. Until we can get there, it makes a great tipple to enjoy in the garden when the sun’s out.

Ingredients
50ml Tarquin’s Hibiscus And Lemon Gin
25ml lemon juice
1 tsp strawberry jam
Strawberry, to garnish
Sparkling Brut Rosé wine (optional)
Method
Shake all your ingredients over ice and strain into a Copa gin glass filled with ice cubes. If using, top up with the sparkling rosé.
Tarquin’s Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower Dry Gin:
Pink Grapefruit G&T
Tarquin’s Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower Dry Gin is a beautifully crisp and floral gin that’s bursting with flourishes of elderflower and mouth-watering notes of grapefruit. Inspired by the hedgerows of the Cornish coast when at the height of their bloom, this gin is perfect for warm spring and summers days.
This delightfully simple serve from Tarquin’s really allows the gin’s luscious flavour profile to shine through, it’s bright and bubbly and completely refreshing. The team at Tarquin’s suggest garnishing this G&T with grapefruit, we also love to add a touch of rosemary for added fragrance.

Ingredients
50ml Tarquin’s Pink Grapefruit & Elderflower Dry Gin
Elderflower tonic water, to top up
Fresh grapefruit, to garnish
Fresh rosemary sprig, to garnish (optional)
Method
Add your gin and tonic water to a glass full of ice, garnish and serve.
