Nothing says ‘time to celebrate’ like Champagne! You may well already be familiar with the famous gin-and-champagne classic cocktail, the French 75, but have you tried this fabulously pretty raspberry, gin and champagne version?

We can confirm that the French Kiss tastes as good as it looks and as such, we think it is a serious contender for the drink to serve at your most fabulous parties, whatever the special occasion!

French Kiss

25ml gin (we recommend Manchester Gin Raspberry Infused)
15ml raspberry liqueur*
Champagne, to top up**
Rose petals or raspberries, to garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the gin and pink raspberry liqueur. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled champagne flute (or two), then top up with champagne. Garnish with a few raspberries or rose petals.

*You can use raspberry syrup instead of liqueur if you prefer a less potent drink!

**Prosecco or dry sparkling wine are lovely alternatives to Champagne, and for a less powerful drink, you could also substitute pineapple juice for the bubbly. This will turn the drink cloudy, but it will taste just as delicious - and a bit sweeter.

Do note - the combination of gin, champagne and raspberry liqueur is strong, so you might prefer to split the liqueur and gin mixture into two glasses before topping up with bubbly.
