Here in the UK, we take it for granted that we’ll be able to get a refreshing drink of water whenever we need it. But for 884 million people around the world, access to fresh and safe water is a fraught affair. The One Foundation, the brilliant people behind March’s Gin of the Month, are trying to remedy this by investing in local projects in the world’s poorest and hardest-to-reach communities, with the goal of providing clean water to the whole world. Our resident gin expert has designed this refreshing cocktail to honour their work. You can enjoy it with a clear conscience, because every bottle of One Gin sold means more money donated to the foundation. Now that’s a cocktail with a cause!

*To make simple syrup, gently heat 100g sugar with 100ml water until combined and a syrupy consistency.
