Maybe it’s the stunning ruby-red colour that reminds us of beautiful festive baubles, or maybe it’s the hint of orange and exotic pomegranate, reminiscent of a gift borne by Middle Eastern kings, but this cocktail feels made for Christmas! Can you imagine how impressive the festive dinner table would look laden with these scarlet cocktails come Christmas Eve?
Also known as a Cotton Cosmo, this delicious cocktail is the perfect balance of sweetness, tartness and smooth gin.
Here, we’ve used the delicious Manchester Raspberry Gin that we have previously featured in one of our Gin of the Month boxes; Craft Gin Clubbers can buy a bottle on our online Members’ Store now!
Cotton Cosmo
35ml Manchester Raspberry Gin
15ml triple sec*
45ml pomegranate juice
15ml fresh lime juice
Rim a coupe or martini glass with sugar. Combine all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker packed with ice. Shake and double strain into your glass.
*Triple sec is a clear orange liqueur that you can pick up in most supermarkets and off-licenses.
