Our October 2020 Cocktail of the Month is perfect for enjoying by the light of the moon!

There’s something rather peculiar happening this month. In October 2020, we will have not one but two full moons - one on the 1st of October and the second on the 31st, coinciding with Halloween.

Inspired by this intriguing phenomenon, we’ve made our October 2020 Cocktail of the Month perfect for sipping in the moonlight. What’s more, the star ingredient, our exclusive October 2020 Gin of the Month, Whitby Gin The Demeter Edition, takes its name from Bram Stoker’s tale of the devilsome Count Dracula. The Demeter was the ship that brought that infamous vampire into the harbour at Whitby in Stocker’s story.

This frightfully fun cocktail mixes the floral, warmly spiced and juniper-forward flavours of the gin with the sprightly citrus and mint aromas of Gunna Muscovite Lemonade & Mint and the delectably complex citrus, herb and berry tones of our bespoke Full Moon Fizz cocktail syrup. A dash of Angostura Orange Bitters then adds some warm spice depth and a lemon slice and a sprig of mint finish this remarkable cocktail off wonderfully.
