Try your hand at these easy-to-make, delicious elderflower gin cocktails for a delicate, refreshing drink that works just as well whether it’s being sipped in the spring sunshine or to brighten a dark and rainy evening!
Elderflower Gin Fizz
55ml gin
30ml elderflower liqueur
30ml lemon juice
Prosecco, to top up
Lemon peel twists, to garnish
Pour gin, elderflower and lemon juice in a shaker and combine. Pour into champagne flutes and top with chilled prosecco. Garnish with lemon swirls and serve immediately.
Elderflower & Gin Bubbles
35ml gin
10ml lime juice
125ml elderflower pressé
3-4 raspberries, to garnish
Fill a tumbler or highball glass with ice and set aside. In a cocktail shaker packed with ice, combine your gin and lime juice. Shake and strain into your glass, then top up with elderflower pressé and garnish with raspberries.
Elderflower Collins Sharing Cocktail
Serves 8
280ml gin
150ml elderflower liqueur
Soda water
Sprigs of elderflower and lemon slices, to garnish
Add the gin and elderflower liqueur to an ice-packed jug. Top with soda water, stir gently and garnish. Serve in Collins glasses.
Lavender & Elderflower Gin Fizz
25 ml gin
25 ml lavender simple syrup
25 ml elderflower liqueur
Prosecco
Lavender sprig, to garnish
Add the lavender syrup, gin and elderflower liqueur to a shaker with ice and combine, Pour into a champagne flute or coupe and top up with chilled prosecco. Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender.
Elderflower & Pink Grapefruit Fizz
40ml gin
60ml pink grapefruit juice
10ml elderflower syrup
20ml sugar
30ml soda water
Shake all ingredients together on ice and strain. Serve over ice in a highball and garnish with a fresh grapefruit wedge and tarragon sprigs.
