The team at Ludlow Distillery have out done themselves with this simple yet oh-so-delicious martini recipe! Their Ludlow Elderflower, Chamomile and Lemon Verbena Gin gives this cocktail lovely aromas and flavours of pastoral Britain in spring and the Lillet Blanc gives a wonderful richness.

We sent this gin and this recipe to our members in their March 2020 Gin of the Month box so they could enjoy one of these delightfully floral martinis on these longer spring evenings in the garden! (Oh, and if you’re wondering what Lillet Blanc is - it’s a wine-based aperitif that’s similar to a light vermouth, very popular in France, and totally yummy. You can get it online and it’s also just as good in your usual gin and tonic and lots of other cocktails, too!)

lemon twist, to garnish

If the warmer weather and longer days are getting you excited for summer already then you might want to try our tropical Pineapple Martini too.
