How is Sky Wave White Horse London Dry Gin made?

Sky Wave White Horse London Dry Gin is made by The Sky Wave Distilling Co., which Rachel Hicks and Andrew Parsons founded.
It is a bespoke craft gin created exclusively for Craft Gin Club using botanical ingredients inspired by the Uffington White Horse, a local landmark close to the distillery and Rachel and Andrew's hearts, like red clover flowers and cornflower petals, which grow in the fields surrounding that giant chalk horse.
The Sky Wave team then chose botanicals like lavender, citrus fruits and spices to complement the floral notes of those key ingredients and develop a London Dry flavour profile that is rich and complex yet bright and elegant.
The full list of Sky Wave White Horse London Dry Gin includes juniper, coriander, angelica, orange, lemon, red clover flowers, cornflower petals, lavender, cardamon and ginger.
These botanicals are then distilled in Sky Wave's 200L copper still named Basca and the resulting gin is bottled in their beautiful Art Deco glass bottles. The bottles are then labelled and sent to Craft Gin Club to send to our wonderful members.
What does Sky Wave White Horse London Dry Gin taste like?
This gin has an initial aroma of bold juniper which melds with light floral notes on the nose.
On the palate, those floral flavours develop with rose, cornflower petals and red clover coming to the front and culminating in a long, yet surprisingly bright finish.
The overall result is an assertive, beautifully balanced gin that combines stunning native English botanicals with the essence of a classic gin.
How do you serve Sky Wave White Horse London Dry Gin?
The experts at Craft Gin Club recommend serving this delicious and unique Sky Wave gin with Navas Original Tonic Water, garnished with slices of lime and juniper berries.
The subtle citrus and bergamot tones of the tonic are the perfect match for the floral allure of the gin, while the garnishes add depth and brightness.

Sky Wave Liberation London Dry Gin | 42% ABV
Born out of love and inspired by the flourishing of nature during the 2020 Lockdown, Sky Wave Liberation London Dry Gin is a soft, smooth craft gin made with unique botanical ingredients like raspberries, vanilla and lemon verbena.
With its juniper-led nose and palate, which are spiced with touches of coriander, vanilla and lemon, and its well-rounded, sweet finish that is oh-so-pleasing, it's no wonder that it won Gold at the 2022 World Gin Awards.

Sky Wave Raspberry & Rhubarb Gin | 42% ABV
Fabulously fruity, fun and utterly scrumptious, this gorgeous red gin is made using rhubarb grown by The Sky Wave Distilling Co. and ripe raspberries. It's the perfect summer gin and it's just as delicious at any other time too!
Its heady nose is bursting with fruit flavours and a rich base of gin. The palate has overtones of summer fruits while remaining remarkably fresh and light. The finish is long, juicy and fragrant in all of the best ways. It contains no artificial flavourings, colourings or any sugar.

Sky Wave Orange & Madagascan Vanilla Gin | 40% ABV
This creative and masterfully distilled craft gin is made using organic Spanish Navel oranges and only the finest Madagascan vanilla sourced straight from the growers, which gives the gin a luxuriously creamy palate. It's easy to see why it was the highest-scoring orange gin in the world at the 2021 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
Sky Wave Orange & Madagascan Vanilla Gin is a surprisingly subtle edition, with complex orange citrus and marvellously mellow vanilla joining juniper from the nose through to the long, meandering finish.
Where is Sky Wave gin made?
Sky Wave gin is distilled at The Sky Wave Distilling Co. distillery, at Bicester Heritage in Bicester, Oxfordshire. It’s the only distillery in the UK to be based on a beautifully preserved former WWII RAF site.
