Every sip of this delightful G&T is full of the floral, zesty delights of British summertime. Using our June 2020 Gin of the Month, Dartmouth English Gin, which we sent out members in their June 2020 Gin of the Month box, it’s a real seaside treat!
A classic London dry, Dartmouth English Gin works wonderfully with Lixir’s Elderflower & Lemon tonic water to make a G&T that’s so fresh, fragrant and aromatic. In each sip, the bright citrus and juniper notes of the gin entwine majestically with the vibrant lemon tang and delectably floral elderflower aromas of the tonic water. The lime and cardamom garnishes then add a rich layering of spice and green citrus tones that make for a truly delectable drinking experience.
The Perfect Dartmouth English Gin G&T!
50ml Dartmouth English Gin
200ml Lixir Elderflower & Lemon Tonic Water
lime and cardamom, to garnish (available on our online shop, just follow the link to find those!)
Fill a Copa glass with ice (we use the amazing super cubes from The Ice Co.) Add your gin, then top up with tonic. Garnish and serve.
This recipe also works wonderfully with Lixir’s Blood Orange & Cinnamon and Rhubarb & Ginger tonic waters. If using the Blood Orange & Cinnamon edition then we recommend swapping the lime and cardamom garnishes for a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick. For the Rhubarb & Ginger edition, we recommend using a fresh lime wedge or fresh raspberries to garnish.

Butterfly Pea Flower G&T
Ingredients
50ml Butterfly Pea Flower Gin
15ml Elderflower liqueur (St-Germain is a great one to use!)
30ml fresh lime juice
Lixir Elderflower & Lemon Tonic Water
edible flowers, to garnish
lime wheel, to garnish
Method
Pour the gin, liqueur and lime juice into your glass over ice. Top up with the tonic water then garnish and serve.
Elderflower Chamomile Gin Spritz
Ingredients
25ml gin (Dartmouth English Gin is perfect for this recipe)
10ml chamomile tea syrup
25ml elderflower cordial
Lixir Elderflower & Lemon Tonic Water
mint, to garnish
Method
For the syrup: Steep two chamomile tea bags in 100ml of boiling water. Add 100g of sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the tea bags when the syrup has cooled.
Pour the gin, syrup and cordial into your glass over ice. Top up with the tonic water and garnish.
