What are the Big Gin Awards?

We’re on a mission to crown the absolute best gin of 2019!

It doesn’t stop there: the Big Gin Awards are also a celebration of the tastiest tonics, the most superlative snacks, the funniest gin-related anecdotes and the most eye-catching creations from the home cocktail community of 2019!

What are the awards for?

There are twelve Big Gin Awards in total. These are split into two main categories: the gin products and the 'gin lifestyle’ awards.

Gongs in the Gin Product categories will be awarded for:

How will the winners be decided and how do I get involved?

The Gin Lifestyle Awards are open to everyone and are YOUR chance to win a year of gin!

• Simply nominate by sending us the photo, story or recipe you think should win any of the above Lifestyle categories, explaining why it or they should win
• You can nominate yourself, too!
• A panel of expert judges will then whittle down all the nominations to a short list of finalists
• The vote will then go out to the general public to decide on the winners for each category!

If yours is crowned the winning entry, you’ll win an annual Craft Gin Club membership and a Big Gin Awards 2019 certificate to take pride of place on your shelf - not to mention, major bragging rights!

Meanwhile, the five Big Gin Awards for best gin, best tonic, best snack, best alternative mixer and best Cocktail of the Month will be decided based on Craft Gin Club member feedback and survey scores that we have received from thousands of members throughout the course of 2019.

The top scorers - the best of the best - will be crowned at our inaugural Big Gin Awards as the best gin, tonic, mixer, gin snack and Cocktail of the Month of 2019!
