These 6 gin & ginger cocktails are sure to add some sunshine to your next BBQ!

For those that don’t like the bitter quinine bite of tonic, ginger makes an amazing alternative mixer for gin! July’s gin of the month box included a bottle of Bundaberg ginger beer - an exquisitely brewed drink packing a fiery punch of fresh ginger. We love it ice cold out the fridge mixed with gin or even by itself, but to take your summer BBQ up a notch check out these delicious gin and ginger cocktails!

English Mule

Bundaberg Ginger Beer
50ml Gin
25ml Lime juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
2 x small pieces of ginger
Lime wedge to garnish

Muddle the ginger and combine with remaining ingredients into a shaker. Shake, then strain. Pour into a copper mug and top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Add crushed ice and a lime wedge to garnish

Brewed Gin & Ger

30ml Gin
15ml Aperol
2 x dash Angostura & Orange bitters
Bundaberg Ginger Beer
25ml Lime juice
Orange and lime wedge to garnish

Combine ingredients into shaker. Shake, then strain into a tall glass and top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Add a scoop of crushed ice and garnish with wedges of orange and lime.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Bundaberg Ginger Beer
60ml gin
30ml lemon juice
2 x bar spoons of your favourite jam
2 x dash bitters
Lemon wedge to garnish

Combine gin, lemon juice, jam and bitters into a shaker. Shake, then strain into a jam jar. Top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer and garnish with wedge of lemon.

Ginger Cup

Bundaberg Ginger Beer
30ml Gin
30ml Pimms
20ml Lime juice
3 x cucumber ribbons
1 x Pinch of mint
Cucumber ribbon and Mint sprig to garnish

Combine Gin, Pimms and lime juice in a shaker. Shake, then strain into a tall glass. Top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Garnish with cucumber ribbon and mint sprig.

Gin Gin Mule

60ml Dry Gin
120mL Bundaberg Ginger Beer
Sprig of mint and and a grapefruit wheel to garnish

Combine the Dry Gin with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Pour into a lowball glass over ice. Add a sprig of mint and a grapefruit wheel to garnish

Sour Ginger Ninja

Bundaberg Ginger Beer
50ml gin
30ml lemon juice
15ml egg white
7.5ml sugar
2 dash bitters
2 x ginger pieces 2cm x 2cm
Ginger cubes for garnish

Muddle ginger then add spirit, lemon juice, egg white, sugar and bitters. Dry shake without ice, add ice then shake again. Top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Garnish with the ginger cubes.
