Cocktail: Boatyard Basil Smash

Boatyard Basil Smash
60ml Boatyard Double Gin
30ml fresh lemon juice
20ml simple syrup*
Large handful of fresh basil
Muddle basil, add all remaining ingredients, shake with ice and double strain over fresh cubed ice. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
*To make simple syrup, combine 100ml of sugar and 100ml of water in a medium saucepan and simmer until combined. Leave to thicken and cool.
