Lemon Verbena Gimlet

One of the leading botanicals in January's Sabatini Gin, lemon verbena adds delicious flavours to the classic gin Gimlet. Mix up this gimlet recipe with a twist and see!

Lemon Verbena Gin Gimlet Cocktail

Ingredients:

60ml water
15g sugar
15g lemon verbena leaves, torn
50ml Sabatini Gin
50ml soda water
Juice of half a lime
Lemon verbena leaves and lemon slices, to garnish

Method:

  1. Begin by making a lemon verbena simple syrup.
  2. Combine sugar, water and lemon verbena leaves into a saucepan and heat gently until combined in a syrup.
  3. Pluck out the lemon verbena leaves and set aside to cool.
  4. When cool, combine all of your ingredients in a glass and stir with ice, then garnish with sprigs of lemon verbena and lemon.
