These patriotic tipples are perfect for summer, and proudly match the stars and stripes.
Red: Raspberry Gin Fizz

25ml raspberry simple syrup*
50ml lime juice
Raspberries and lemon thyme, to garnish
For the raspberry simple syrup:
400g fresh raspberries
To make the raspberry simple syrup, combine raspberries, sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Heat gently and stir until the berries have broken down and the sugar and water have combined into a syrup. Strain into a glass and allow to cool. Makes enough for several drinks.
Once your syrup is cool, combine syrup, gin and lime juice in a glass with lots of ice and stir. Top up with soda water and garnish with raspberries and lemon thyme.
White: Summer Babe

20ml Chartreuse or Génépy des Alpes
20ml fresh lemon juice
Twist of lemon, to garnish
Combine all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker packed with ice. Shake until frosty and strain into a chilled Martini glass or cocktail coupe. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Blue: Blue Lagoon
30ml dry gin
30ml blue curaçao
30 ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
30ml simple syrup*
*To make syrup, heat equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, then allow to cool.
In a blender, blend all of the ingredients with a large scoop of crushed ice. Pour drink into a chilled glass and garnish with an orange twist or maraschino cherry. Serve with a straw.
