Cocktail of the Week: Occitanian

From the master mixologists at Freud Bar in central London comes this beautiful, totally exclusive cocktail – designed specifically to make May's Gin of the Month, Bordiga's Occitan Gin, sing.


Occitanian Occitan Gin cocktail with lemon cucumber and rosemary garnishes

45ml Occitan Gin
20ml fresh lemon juice
10ml sugar syrup
2 slices cucumber
Sprig of rosemary, to garnish

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber slices with the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Add ice and shake well, then strain into a cocktail coupe or a martini glass. Strip the rosemary and drop the individual leaves in a lattice pattern on the top of the drink. Enjoy!
