Starting at 10am, a small group of students will be guided through a lesson, participate in the actual distilling process and end the day with a bottle of their very own gin to take home. 7. Visit the grandest Gin Palace in the UK

As any gin lover knows, variety is the spice of life - and nowhere in the UK will you find the number of gins that are available at the Old Bell Inn! Located in Delph, just 30 minutes outside of Manchester, the Inn's 'Gin Emporium' is the hard work of Philip Whiteman, whose broken the Guinness World record for holding the largest number of gins commercially available. Numbering 600 gins, you'll be hard-pressed to find a greater gin joint that this.
