Cocktail of the Week: Glendalough Hot Toddy

Chase away those January blues and keep warm this winter with this Glendalough version of the classic Hot Toddy! Check out how you can make this fabulous drink with this month's Wild Botanical gin below.

Glendalough Hot Toddy

Glendalough gin hot toddy cocktail with cinnamon stick

50ml Wild Botanical Gin
75ml Cloudy Apple Juice
75ml Cider
3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
3 dashes of Orange Bitters
Pinch of Cinnamon
20ml Honey

Method:

Bring the cider to a simmer in a small pot, then add the apple juice, cinnamon, bitters and honey. Bring the liquid to a simmer and stir continuously for three minutes. Add the gin, stir and garnish with cinnamon and lemon zest – plus a pine or fir sprig if you have one. Serve while warm.
