If, like us, you’ve enjoyed the rise of the ‘bottomless brunch’ phenomenon in recent years, where eateries offer unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas or Bloody Marys as an enticement for partaking in a weekend feast, then we've got news that will be music to your ears

Dublin wine bar and restaurant, No.5 Vinoteca, has gone one step further and added gin to the list of ‘bottomless’ beverages on its brunch menu.

For €50 (£38), you can enjoy four tapas-style dishes, accompanied by unlimited gin beverages featuring 6 O’clock Gin – yes, you read that right: as much gin as you like.

If for whatever reason you don’t fancy gin (but why wouldn't you?) then you can instead opt wine, beer, or a selection of other cocktails.

Diners can also upgrade to to €60 (£46) for a larger selection of cocktails, ramp things up even more and pay €70 (£53) for the option of Champagne.

The downside? Well, there is a time limit as the deal is based on a two-hour sitting – but that should still be plenty of time to slake the thirst of even the most dedicated gin fan.

The first Bottomless Gin Brunch takes place at No.5 Vinoteca, Dublin, on 2nd July between 12.30pm and 5pm.
