IT’S ALMOST HERE! The day all gin lovers around the world anticipate with a reserve stock of tonic, garnish, vermouth and their favourite martini glasses. It’s World Gin Day!
Launched seven years ago in London, the day is rapidly spreading around the world as more and more nations discover the joys of gin. No other nation, however, is as gin crazy as the UK and there are a growing number of events to reflect its dedication to the spirit the Queen drinks every day. Here is a list of the biggest World Gin Day events around the UK to which there is no excuse not to attend. Ok, there is one excuse. Some of them are sold out. But don’t worry, there are plenty of pubs and restaurants around the country that have organised their own World Gin Day celebrations. Or you could always stay at home, grab your favourite tonic, and pour yourself one of your Craft Gin Club Gins of the Month - always the best gins in the UK!
Junipalooza is back for another round! With over 1,200 people attending and 24 distillers and brands showing off their wares, this is definitely the place to be in the Capital… if you can get your hands on one of the sold out tickets!

The festival roaming around the country finds itself pleasing the gin lovers of Newcastle this weekend. Featuring over 100 gins, there is no other place where you can taste as many different G&Ts in one sitting.
Manchester - The Gintastic Festival
Following in the footsteps of the Gin Festival, the Gintastic Festival comes to Manchester after launching in Leeds this year. £35 gets you entrance for two, two souvenir glasses, two gin and tonics each and two G&T macaroons each.
Liverpool - Liverpool Gin Party
Bottled by hand and certified organic, Liverpool Gin has been making a splash in the UK craft gin scene. The brand is hosting a World Gin Day party to celebrate the spirit as well as launch two new flavoured lines.
The National Space Centre has gone all out to fete the UK’s idiosyncratic spirit. With masterclasses on the history of gin and craft distillers such as Burleigh’s and Warner Edwards (both Craft Gin Club Gins of the Month), you will leave this event knowing everything to know while tasting some of the UK’s finest craft gins.
Edinburgh - Scottish Juniper Festival
The first annual celebration of Scottish gin will educate you and tantalize your tastebuds. With “Spiritual Sessions” teaching all there is to know about the spirit and Pickering’s Gin on hand to give you a tour of its distillery, you’ll walk away floating on the bubbles in your G&Ts.
Perthshire - Perthshire’s First Gin Festival
Organised by the Gin Club Scotland, this event organised for charity will give you 4 x gins from a choice of 100, mixers, garnish, an information pack on How to Taste Gin, Potted History of Gin, and Scottish Gin Tasting Notes, a miniature bottle of gin, and a light lunch buffet all for £25
