Mince Pie Martini
Nothing says Christmas like a mince pie, and this tipple twist on our favourite Christmas treat is just as holly jolly!

100ml red vermouth
20ml dark rum
4 tsp. mincemeat
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. mixed spice
For mincemeat syrup:
100g golden sugar
- Prepare mincemeat syrup by heating up 100g golden sugar, 50g mincemeat and 100ml water in a pan until boiling. Allow mixture to cool, then double strain into airtight container.
- Combine mixed spice and 4 Tbsp. sugar and rim 4 Martini glasses. Set aside.
- In a shaker filled with ice, muddle mincemeat with gin, vermouth, rum and 80ml mincemeat syrup. Shake vigorously.
- Strain into rimmed Martini glasses and serve.
