Finally - some lush warmer weather! We’ve got just the tonic for these sunny rays… and trust us when we say one of these uber-refreshing watermelon G&Ts with a bucket of ice will do just the trick. Here at Craft Gin Club, we love trying exciting new twists on a classic G&T - like this sweet cherry G&T or this mouthwatering blood orange G&T. However, this fruity one is a perfect option for those hot summer nights when nothing seems to quench your thirst. So go take a seat in the kids’ paddling pool, take a long sip on one of these blushing pink beauties, and… chill out. You deserve it!
A refreshing watermelon gin and tonic, garnished with a sprig of mint and a few slices of lemon and lime
Watermelon Gin & Tonic
Fresh lime
30ml gin
4-5 cubes of fresh watermelon
Tonic water
Put a few good squeezes of lime juice into your glass, then add a few fresh slices of the lime to your glass. Fill your glass with plenty of ice cubes (the more ice you put in, the colder your drink will be and the longer it will take to melt and dilute the gin, so more is better!).
Add a handful of freshly sliced cubes or wedges of watermelon. Pour over your gin and tonic water. Stir for a minute to help the watermelon flavour infuse and to chill the drink. Garnish with more lime or lemon slices, and a sprig of mint, if desired.
