Inspired by the gardens and hedgerows of Yorkshire, the home of Cotton Garden Gin by Otterbeck Distillery, Craft Gin Club’s September 2021 Gin of the Month, our Master Mixologist Maria has created this refreshing cocktail to sip in the mellow September sunshine - it’s just as good at any other time of the year too!
Made from ingredients found in Craft Gin Club’s September 2021 Gin of the Month box, it’s super simple to make, and even easier to drink. Find the recipe below!
Craft Gin Club’s Secret Garden
45ml Cotton Garden Gin
25ml Secret Garden Cocktail Syrup
125ml Heartsease Farm Raspberry Lemonade
Raspberries and mint leaves, to garnish
Add all of your ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice and stir to combine. Garnish and serve.

Cotton Garden Gin
Made exclusively for Craft Gin Club members by Yorkshire’s Otterbeck Distillery, who were also behind Captain Sir Tom’s London Dry Gin, this delicious tipple was inspired by Yorkshire’s rolling countryside and the gardens that sit next to the distillery itself. With garden herbs like rosemary, sage, thyme and mint used as botanicals, along with citrus fruit and elderberries, it’s a herbaceous and citrusy gin with a rich, earthy base.
Otterbeck’s Cotton Garden Gin is a beautiful expression featuring all of the traditional English garden flavours and aromas you can experience at this time of year [September]. Given the gin’s fresh centre, it’s easy to taste where the inspiration for this special edition has come from - not least bountiful Yorkshire Dales which are on the distillery’s doorstep.

Heartsease Farm Raspberry Lemonade
Made on Heartsease Farm in Wales, using the farm’s very own spring water, this remarkable pink raspberry lemonade is bursting with beautiful berry flavours and a delicious hit of lemon citrus. It’s a fabulously fizzy soft drink that’s just as delicious sipped on its own as it is mixed with Cotton Garden Gin in Craft Gin Club’s Secret Garden.
