Our May 2021 Gin of the Month box is all about celebrating spring in the UK!
With a craft gin made exclusively for Craft Gin Club members on a luscious farm in Lancashire and lots of delectable treats to enjoy in the sunshine amongst the blooming flowers, hedges and grasses of our verdant isles, this box is perfect for enjoying on a picnic in the countryside or at a barbecue in your garden.

Cuckoo Solace Craft Gin Club Special Edition
Distilled by the Brindle Distillery on their farm in the heart of Lancashire’s gorgeous countryside exclusively for Craft Gin Club members, this remarkable gin is made with three different kinds of olive, mouth-watering herbs and a vibrant splash of lime. There is nothing else in the world quite like this delicious tipple!
This gin is characterised by its piney juniper notes, Mediterranean tones and a remarkable texture. On the nose, citrus and juniper lead. They continue onto the palate where they are met by refreshing herb and olive flavours which give way to a long and elegant juniper and citrus-rich finish. Light, crisp and wonderfully savoury, Craft Gin Club members are in for a real treat with this special craft gin.
Marlish English Tonic Water
Marlish English Tonic Water is a deliciously clean, sugar-free mixer that is made on Marlish Farm in Northumberland. A small, local business, the team at Marlish are dedicated to working with the community and keeping their practices as sustainable as possible. They use solar power from panels on the farm for their energy needs, source materials that help them to keep their road miles and emissions as low as possible and they make sure their packaging is as recyclable as possible - not to mention the 5000 trees they have planted over the last 10 years.
What’s more, the water used to create these stunning tonic waters is sourced from spring water found in the hills surrounding the farm, which takes over 150 years to filter through the rock strata, giving the water its remarkable purity and refreshing taste. It’s the perfect tonic water to pair with Cuckoo Solace Craft Gin Club Special Edition.

Our May 2021 Perfect G&T
Our May 2021 Perfect G&T pairs the delectably pure Marlish English Tonic Water with our delightfully rich and complex May 2021 Gin of the Month.
The refreshingly clean characteristics of the tonic water really allow the complex juniper, citrus, herb and olive tones of Cuckoo Solace Craft Gin Club Special Edition to shine through and the garnish pairing of lemon and juniper helps to elevate the whole drinking experience to new levels of deliciousness. We can’t get enough of this beautiful craft G&T!
Purely Plantain Chips Sea Salt
This month, we are sending our lucky members Purely Plaintain Chips’ delicious Sea Salt edition. If you didn’t already know, plantain is a more nutritious cousin of the banana that’s packed full of fibre, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. These plantains in particular are sourced from small farms in Ecuador so that Purely Plaintain Chips can promote sustainability and help to support the local economy.
We love Purely Plantain Chips’ Wild Garlic and Nice & Spicy flavours too, of course, but their Sea Salt flavour is just so incredibly moreish. We love to share them out with our gin pals on a picnic or at a barbecue as we enjoy a G&T or two.

Pedrino Ruby & Tonic Spritz
If you have been a member of Craft Gin Club for some time now, you will no doubt remember the mouth-watering delights of Pedrino Sherry & Tonic Spritz from our December 2019 Gin of the Month box and Pedrino Vermouth & Tonic Spritz from our June 2020 box. With their distinctly European charm, these stunning tipples are the perfect way to transport yourself to a sunny terrace for an aperitif or two. We are now so excited to introduce Craft Gin Club members to Predrino Ruby & Tonic Spritz, which they can find in this month’s box.
Pedrino Rudy & Tonic Spritz is a sumptuous mix of ruby port and artisanal tonic water flavours that are magnificent on their own and work so well with gin too, especially in cocktails like the Cherry Bakewell Spritz.

Mallow & Marsh Double Chocolate Marshmallow Bar
Chocolate and marshmallow fans are in for a seriously delicious surprise in this month’s box because we are including Mallow & Marsh’s drool-inducing Double Chocolate Marshmallow Bar. These more grown-up sweet snacks are marshmallow but not as you have had it before, made with only the finest ingredients, these tasty treats are divine!
Mallow & Marsh Double Chocolate Marshmallow bar is a soft, spongy stick of chocolate-flavoured marshmallow covered in a delectably brittle case of milk chocolate. It’s one of our favourite nibbles to enjoy with a gin cocktail or two. We can’t wait for members to give it a try!
Thatchers Haze or Thatchers Rosé Cider
If there is one thing we love when the sun comes out as much as gin, it’s cider. Our first choice for cider?Thatchers, of course! Still made at Myrtle Farm in Somerset, where it has been made by the same family for over 115 years, nothing could be more perfect for a barbecue in the sunshine than this beautiful cider, whether sipped on its own or mixed with gin in a fabulous cocktail.
Craft Gin Club members could find either Thatchers Rosé Cider or their Haze edition in this month’s box. Like all of Thatchers’ ciders, they are both vegan-friendly, vegetarian-friendly, gluten-free and utterly scrumptious. Their Rosé edition has a gorgeous pink hue and is full of sweet, fruity dessert apple flavours from Fuji, Gala and Cripps Pink apples. Their Haze edition is a naturally cloudy yet sweet and crisp cider made with Jonagold, Gala, Discovery and Falstaff eating apples. Whichever one they get, members are in for a wonderful May!
Sunbites Roasted Onion & Turmeric
We are in love with Sunbites! Their 100% wholegrain snacks are crunchy and crisp and perfect for enjoying at barbecues and picnics with your favourite gin drinks.
Members can find Sunbites’ delicious new Roasted Onion & Turmeric edition in this month’s box. Rich, complex and sumptuously savoury, this unique flavour combination is completely divine and, what’s more, Sunbites are much healthier than your average crisps. We recommend cracking open some nice dips and sitting around in the sun with a G&T and Sunbites this May. Yum!

In this month’s box, members can find dried lemon slices and juniper berries. The lemon adds bright, vibrant touches of citrus to our May Perfect G&T, while the juniper berries add a hint of bitterness that really brings out the complex flavours of the gin.
To create our May 2021 Cocktail of the Month, Craft Gin Club’s Cuckoo Bird, our members can find our fragrant Cuckoo Bird cocktail syrup in their box.
