Cocktail: Lavender Lemonade Martini

Wild lavender and sharp, zesty lemons make the most beautiful cocktail that will transport you to a sun drenched terrace in Provence.

Lavender Lemonade Martini

Method: 

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and combine your ingredients inside. Shake hard, until cold, and strain into a chilled Martini glass or cocktail coupe. Garnish with a sprig of culinary lavender.
 
*To make lavender simple syrup, combine 250ml of water and 250g of sugar in a medium saucepan with six sprigs of culinary lavender. Simmer the syrup until thickened, then strain into a container and allow to cool. Store, sealed, in the refrigerator. 

Ingredients:

50ml gin
100ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
25ml lavender simple syrup*
