Black cats and witches' hats are all around as Halloween draws near... but did you know that today's Black Cat Day isn't quite as spooky as we think? Meant to raise awareness about these dark and fuzzy felines, it's a celebration of the uniqueness of black-and-white cats and what makes them so special! Cat lover or not, you'll be a feline fan after one taste of this delightful drink!
Black Cat Cocktail

Pinch of grapefruit zest
1 tsp Simple Syrup*
30ml Old Tom gin
30ml Mezcal
20ml Punt e Mes
20ml Amontillado sherry
Grapefruit twist
Method:
Muddle grapefruit zest and the simple syrup in a mixing glass.
Add all other ingredients and stir with ice.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a grapefruit twist and enjoy!
*Heat equal parts sugar and water in saucepan and let cool
