Summer in a sip… yes please.

Here at Craft Gin Club, when it comes to summer, there are a few things that are always true: you want a refreshing gin cocktail in hand, for that cocktail to be quick (and easy) to make, and for that cocktail to taste divine.

So, we set ourselves the challenge of developing some delicious brand-new products that do exactly that, so you can sip in ginny style, and spend more time in the garden with good company!

So, exactly what gin goodies have we created? Well, you’re going to learn all about our two newbies below - but believe us when we say you’re in for a treat!

What is a Summer Cup?

A summer cup is a traditional English alcoholic drink that’s otherwise known as a fruit punch or pitcher. They are made to be mixed into a long drink with a mixer (like lemonade). It is also known as a fruit cup.

Otterbeck Distillery is part of our Family of Distillers!

If you're looking for a summer cup with craft gin, then look no further. Our Craft Gin Club Summer Garden Cup gin liqueur has gin from none other than Otterbeck Distillery - and we know craft gin makes all the difference to a tipple!

If you love Pimm’s and love craft gin - this product is basically the best of both worlds!

Is Summer Cup the same as Pimms?

We're all familiar with the popular Pimm's No. 1, but don’t be mistaken that a summer cup is a totally different drink. A summer cup is a style of drink (a fruity punch). Pimm’s is a branded summer cup.

What’s in a Summer Cup?

Fresh and fruity

Often, they are gin-based, but some use vodka. The base spirit is then paired with spices, herbs, fruits, and some botanicals. Our Summer Garden Cup gin liqueur has a gorgeous combination of craft gin, strawberry, cucumber, citrus, and English Breakfast tea flavours.

The good news is, you can put as little or as much garnish in it as you like - but popular garnishes are fresh mint, strawberry, lemon, lime, apple, orange, and cucumber.

What does Summer Cup taste like?

Our Summer Garden Cup is a tasty tipple that tastes like British summertime, bottled.

It’s got gorgeous fruity notes thanks to the strawberry, cucumber, and citrus but is also light and refreshing at the same time, especially when mixed with something bubbly and balancing (like lemonade or ginger beer!)

What’s the best Summer Cup recipe?

For a simple serve, we suggest mixing with lemonade and garnishing with fresh fruit and herbs (like fresh mint) if you want a quick and easy summer cocktail.

If you want to jazz it up a little, try our Summer Cup cocktail bundle, which comes with raspberry syrup and fiery ginger beer.

Add in a squeeze of lime juice and you’re good to go. (Watch our video below to see how easy it is to make!)

Whether you’re enjoying it at a picnic with pals, in the garden, or as a summer cocktail - it’s the perfect summer gin liqueur!
