You know how, when your family gets a box of chocolates at Christmas and there’s always a mad scramble for the ones with the shiny purple wrappers - the chocolate, hazelnut and caramel ones?! Well, we took inspiration from that classic flavour combination and came up with this delicious cocktail!
Meet the Chocolate Hazelnut Martini! You can use white or dark chocolate liqueur to complement the sweet, nutty flavour of the Frangelico; naturally, we’ve got gin in there for a beautifully boozy base note of warmth, and real cream to provide that smooth, comforting texture that is just right for cold weather.
As well as tasting sensational, we think you’ll agree it looks pretty stunning, too - making it a real showstopper for all your festive celebrations!
Chocolate Hazelnut Martini
25ml gin
15ml Frangelico or other hazelnut liqueur
15ml crème de cacao chocolate liqueur - you can use white or dark!
30ml double cream
Shake all your ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Sprinkle with a little crushed hazelnut or some ground nutmeg to garnish and serve!
