Gin Clubbers got a special surprise when they opened their September 2016 Gin of the Month Boxes. Along with a trove of treats, an exclusive edition of Elephant Gin awaited them! Not just incredible in taste, the equally incredible story of Elephant Gin's origins is one that's remarkably inspirational.
Inspired by Africa, Elephant's co-founders are dedicated to changing the world. Elephant Gin donate 15% of all profits to two charitable foundations working to protect elephants across the continent. Could there be a more fitting gin to unveil on International Charity Day? Additionally, each batch of Elephant Gin is named after a real elephant that is either protected by one of these foundations, or that has played an important role in the history of Africa. Mshale, the Craft Gin Club batch's elephant, is just one of these gentle giants. You can help Elephant Gin and elephants like Mshale by donating to the organisations they support, Big Life Foundation and Space For Elephants.

TASTING NOTES
The gin’s nose yields a subtle juniper aroma with an undertone of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes. The taste is complex but strikingly smooth, encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavours. This special batch with places particular emphasis on herbal elements of the African botanicals.
