Sometimes it's hard to get your five-a-day - not gins, of course (those go down quite easy), but greens! We often miss the mark when it comes to fitting in these portions of fruit and veg, so we've found a way to make you feel a little better about your priorities with this surprisingly delicious Kale Tom Collins recipe. Who needs the gym when you have gin, anyway?

40ml gin
1 teaspoon agave syrup
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
40ml fresh kale juice (see below)
3-4 thick slices of cucumber
Soda water

For the kale juice:
Make 40ml of kale juice in a juicer using 115g kale.
(If you don't have a juicer, store bought is fine!)

Method:

In a shaker, muddle the cucumber slices.

Fill the shaker with ice, then add the kale juice, agave syrup, lime juice and gin.

Shake well, and strain cocktail into highball glass filled with ice.

Fill to the top with soda water, garnish with a slice of cucumber and serve!
